The bell sound in The Silver Bell Trolley is a first for all Lionel Birney streetcars. It makes this Birney more unique and realistic than the others Lionel has made. The Birney Safety Car has been a Lionel tradition since the yellow and red #60 Trolley went on sale about 1955. The Silver Bell Trolley is a thousand times better than #60 since it has two realistic working trolley poles, a working LED headlight on each end, as well as one interior lamp. The #60 contained a swiveling trolley pole and an interior lamp but no working headlight. A Railsounds recording of a real Birney trolley inside this Birney would make it even better, but for the time being I will be satisfied with the bell sound.
